What a Nice Day

What a great day! My granny T came into town from New Mexico and will be here all month long. She turned 80 years old (young) today. Buster, Barbie, my mom, and my aunt Gayle put a nice party together for her at Grumps. Granny had a sister come into town and a couple of cousins. My aunt and cousins came in from Okalahoma. It was a nice treat to see everyone. Then this evening me and the kids headed to Buster's house and hanged out for awhile. Nolan got to play in some nice sand. He had a blast. I think that was the first time he has ever got to play in the dirt. He kept trying to eat the sand. When he first saw the sand he didn't know what to do with it, but Granny showed him how to run the sand through his fingers. When he finally got use to the sand in his hands he began to dig. Everytime he would put his hands in the sand he would make it fly and say "cool." No really he was saying cool. Oh and did I mention that the sand is in the drive way at the house. So when he got tired of sitting there he took off to the end of the drive way and we would have to chase after him. He would look back as he was crawling to she is we were followig him. At the other end of the road toward the house the dog was laying in the path and Nolan wouldn't go pass the dog. He sure was a handful at the lunch because it was nap time, but later on at the house after a nap he had a blast.
