This weekend I went to Phil’s family reunion with his mom. It was a nice trip I got to see the house Phil spent some of his time in and a house his mom grew up in. I came along since she broke her hand and she can’t carry the stout little boy Nolan and she wanted to show him off. So I went along for the ride even though I ended up driving. At least there were a couple of family members there that I see often. When I mean often I mean a lot more often than Phil. Lets just say that Phil doesn’t get to show up to a lot of family events and I go with the kids without him. It’s no big deal, I enjoy his family and my family doesn’t get together that often, so it is nice to be around them as much as I am. Anyways, I took the kiddos to the reunion and got out of the house some, which is always nice when you are a stay-at-home parent or are lucky to stay-at-home just to be able to stay-at-home and not have to work.
Now I am preparing for this next weekend. Phil and I are finally getting a new bed, before my mom leaves. I am very glad that she will be able to give us her less used bed. I think at this point I would rather sleep on the couch then the bed that I am sleeping on, I feel like I haven’t slept all week. So I need to clean my house once again, since it has gotten so dirty since Saturdays bar-b-que. Also I think we get to meet my mom’s fiancé this week before the weeding on Saturday, hopefully he gets here in time to get the marriage license. :)
